Management Team
Mike Curreri, CEO and President
Mike Curreri brings to AVIcode his experience as a
successful technology entrepreneur, business/team leader
and intellectual property attorney. Prior to founding
AVIcode, Mike gained national recognition as a pioneer
in the development of Internet-based collaborative
networking tools. Under his leadership as CEO/President,
his first of four start-ups, TrialNet, became the
nation’s leader in collaborative networking for the
legal community. His most recent company, TyMetrix, was
acquired by CT Corp in 2003.
Mike’s industry leadership and community involvement

Mike is a cum laude graduate of the University of
Notre Dame Law School, a magna cum laude graduate of
George Washington University, and has a B.S. in applied
computer applications from the U.S. Naval Academy. He
was highly decorated for his combat service as a Naval
Officer and went on to lead the national litigation law
firm of Wright, Robinson, Osthimer, and Tatum before
leaving the practice of law to begin his entrepreneurial
ventures.
Mike is also a US Coast Guard licensed Captain,
holding a Masters license for 100 Gross Ton vessels.
Victor Mushkatin, CTO
An
expert software architect, and adept business manager
and leader, Victor has developed a variety of software
components, communications libraries, and XML schemas
for Internet business portals to include integration
with a variety of financial systems, government systems,
and communication networks. As business manager for
AVIcodes predecessor company, he was directly
responsible for P and L and overall leadership of the
company. It was under his management that the
foundations of the current company and Intercept Studio
itself were built.
Alexandre Zakonov, Chief Architect
Alex
has over 10 years of experience in software industry.
His main area of expertise is software manageability.
Through the multiple years in software industry he
worked on multiple mission critical systems, first as
software engineer, later as software architect. Alex was
involved not only in development side of those projects,
but also in operations and support side. That gave him
unique prospective on interconnections between
development and operations and on what it takes to have
a successful manageable system. His involvement with
manageable systems spans across multiple vertical
industries including monitoring software for energy
management, data processing software for
telecommunication industry, business automation software
for legal industry. That experience resulted in the
creation of AVIcode software, which is based on unique
patent pending inventions in software monitoring.
Currently, Alex is actively involved with Microsoft
products groups in the area of software manageability.
He works with Windows Management team for operations
aspects of software manageability and with Visual Studio
Team System Team for development aspects. That work led
to the offering for Addison Wesley to write a book
Designing Software for Manageability that outlines
industry direction for the manageable software.
Stephen Pelletier, Founder / Director of IT
As one of the four founders, Steve’s vision for
AVIcode was instrumental in its inception and
development, taking leadership in the formation of the
company’s early relationship with Microsoft and its
positioning in the market. As an accomplished
information systems architect, network manager, and
successful Internet entrepreneur, Steve continues to
guide the all important technical infrastructure of the
company across eight time zones. But, most of all, Steve
is our resident visionary, with a keen appreciation for
the needs of clients and the true value of innovation in
a sea of dire needs.
Scott Harris, Chief Operating Officer / VP Sales
Scott Harris joins AVIcode with a 23 year track
record of success as a business leader, manager, and
entrepreneur in software technology . He has a history
of driving revenue growth, expanding business
development, and improving processes across an
organization to drive down costs and improve efficiency.
For the past three years, Scott served as president and
COO of Avatech Solutions, a publicly-traded software and
consulting firm. Under Scott’s leadership, company
revenue doubled, employee headcount increased by 30%,
and the company’s stock price increased over 500%. Prior
to Avatech, Scott served as president and CEO of a major
provider of fiber optic and cabling solutions to the
telecommunications industry where he managed all aspects
of the business and implemented new processes which
dramatically cut operating costs while growing revenue
over 25% to $30M in just one year. As the founder of The
Harris Group, Scott grew the electronic document
management company from the ground floor to a
multi-million dollar organization with over 200 Fortune
1000 customers, and eventually sold to Bell & Howell.
Scott began his professional career with IBM where he
worked his way up the ranks from systems engineer to
national account sales manager to business partner
manager, all the while receiving numerous awards for his
achievements.
Scott earned his B.S. in computer science and business,
graduating cum laude from Tulane University. He is also
a graduate of the Advanced Management Program from the
Wharton Business School at the University of
Pennsylvania. Among Scott’s personal accomplishments, he
has raced in the New York City Marathon and completed a
series of triathlons.
Marty Brandwin, VP Marketing
Marty
is a veteran software marketing expert with over 14
years experience conceptualizing and implementing
aggressive lead generation and public relations programs
targeting multiple vertical markets and Fortune 1000
companies. Prior to joining AVIcode, Marty's lead
generation and nurturing campaigns at Jinfonet Software
garnered national recognition and earned him an
invitation to join the CMO Council, a thought leadership
group of technology marketing executives. During his
career, Marty has managed multi-million dollar branding
campaigns, guided pre- IPO marketing and public
relations strategies, and managed co-marketing
partnerships with companies such as Microsoft, AOL/Time
Warner, Research in Motion, E*Trade, and Amazon.com.
