Microsoft System Center Alliance

AVIcode is proud to be a member of the Microsoft System Center Alliance, an online community dedicated to helping Microsoft Partners better collaborate and develop solutions for System Center. In addition, the System Center Alliance provides a vehicle for educating Microsoft customers and sales channels on recent developments with System Center and added-value solutions, like AVIcode's .NET Management Pack, BizTalk 2006 Application Management Pack, SharePoint 2007 Application Management Pack, and SQL Reporting Services Management Pack. Serena

Serena (www.serena.com) and AVIcode have combined enterprise application defect detection with software configuration and change management. Both companies are Microsoft partners with VSIP certified solutions to support the .NET framework. Serena provides Serena Dimensions™ for .NET and Serena Tracker™ for closed-loop change management and issue tracking in application development. AVIcode provides Intercept Studio, which eliminates the traditional break-fix cycle for application defects and the time-consuming "raise, diagnose, fix, test, deploy" process.

The Serena-AVIcode integration dramatically reduces the time and tasks associated with application defect diagnosis and resolution, such as researching causes, instrumenting the code, re-releasing and waiting to see if the problem happens again. AVIcode captures root cause information on the production server, including call stack, function parameters, local and object variables, and delivers it to the Serena change management system used by the development team. This means that software defects and issues can now be quickly, automatically and cost-effectively detected, tracked and resolved at both ends of the development process—Application Development and IT Operations.
