AVIcode, a leading independent manufacturer of application fault management software and Microsoft Certified Partner, reaffirmed its support of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and the Visual Studio Industry Partner (VSIP) program. Microsoft’s Visual Studio is a complete set of tools leveraged for developing enterprise software solutions. The VSIP program enables AVIcode to integrate their monitoring software into Visual Studio .NET and the Visual Studio .NET framework.

Serena

Serena (www.serena.com) and AVIcode have combined enterprise application defect detection with software configuration and change management. Both companies are Microsoft partners with VSIP certified solutions to support the .NET framework. Serena provides Serena Dimensions™ for .NET and Serena Tracker™ for closed-loop change management and issue tracking in application development. AVIcode provides Intercept Studio, which eliminates the traditional break-fix cycle for application defects and the time-consuming "raise, diagnose, fix, test, deploy" process.

The Serena-AVIcode integration dramatically reduces the time and tasks associated with application defect diagnosis and resolution, such as researching causes, instrumenting the code, re-releasing and waiting to see if the problem happens again. AVIcode captures root cause information on the production server, including call stack, function parameters, local and object variables, and delivers it to the Serena change management system used by the development team.
