AVICODE'S INTERCEPT STUDIO DELIVERS MAJOR IMPROVEMENT ON SOFTWARE PERFORMANCE AT XCEED TECHNOLOGIES 

Company reports cutting execution times in half

Three months after it began using Intercept Studio, a .Net monitoring software that detects application faults in real-time, Northern Virginia-based Xceed Technologies reports that execution time for its own software products has been cut in half.

"Intercept Studio has helped find the exact cause of delays, which allows our developers to fine tune the application, supporting databases, and the queries for better performance," says Xceed CEO Bary Azmi. Xceed provides intelligent wireless network performance analysis and post-processing products to the multimedia wireless industry.

Mr. Azmi notes that Xceed's clients demand enormous amounts of data at their fingertips, which presents a significant challenge since application performance is in part dependent on how much data a user queried. AVIcode's Intercept Studio helped Xceed uncover application components that were not performing optimally, and provided all of the information the company needed to eliminate those performance bottlenecks and streamline their application.

Mr. Azmi notes that Xceed's web based product Vortex™ processes large amounts of data, which is collected through third party vendors in real time to simulate the user experience. In addition, Xceed's product is able to analyze wireless network problems such as dropped and blocked calls.
