LEADING ISRAELI FINANCIAL INSTITUTION BANKS ON AVICODE'S .NET MANAGEMENT PACK TO MONITOR APPLICATIONS
 

AVIcode enables Mizrahi Tefahot Bank Ltd. to provide better customer experiences

BALTIMORE, Maryland, 8/08/2006 – Baltimore-based AVIcode – the industry leader in .NET application monitoring software - and Israeli distributor Efficens Software Ltd., announced today that AVIcode will provide its .NET Management Pack solution to Mizrahi Tefahot Bank Ltd., the fourth largest bank in Israel with more than 100 retail branches.

AVIcode’s .NET Management Pack integrates seamlessly and extends the capabilities of Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 (MOM) to deliver real-time, in-production monitoring of custom Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 applications.

Based on AVIcode’s unique Intercept Studio technology – which monitors applications for exceptions, performance bottlenecks, and security and connectivity issues – the .NET Management Pack provides proactive alerting and complete root cause diagnosis of application problems, helping to accelerate time-to-resolution while greatly reducing both the time and cost of application maintenance.

Mizrahi Tefahot plans to install a new branch banking system and overhaul its Internet banking solution by early 2007. After seeing how quickly and thoroughly application errors were detected and diagnosed with AVIcode’s .NET Management Pack, the bank’s IT officials decided to invest in both the .NET Management Pack and MOM.

Additionally, Mizrahi Tefahot plans to use AVIcode's solutions with all of its future .NET development efforts, both in production environments and during development and QA phases of the application life cycle.

Mizrahi Tefahot will integrate MOM and the .NET Management Pack into its Tivoli systems management solution in order to better control IT resources. Both the bank’s branch system and its internet banking solution are built on the .NET 2.0 platform. AVIcode’s technology will monitor both the smart client-based branch system and the Web-based online banking solution.
