Israel's Top Insurance Company Chooses AVIcode
 

BALTIMORE, Maryland, 01/09/2007 – Baltimore-based AVIcode – the industry leader in .NET application monitoring software – announced today that it has reached an agreement to provide its .NET Management Pack solution to Clal Insurance Group, Israel’s foremost insurance company.

AVIcode’s .NET Management Pack integrates seamlessly and extends the capabilities of Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 (MOM) to deliver real-time, in-production monitoring of custom Microsoft .NET Framework applications.

Based on AVIcode’s unique Intercept Studio technology – which monitors applications for exceptions, performance bottlenecks, and security and connectivity issues – the .NET Management Pack provides proactive alerting and complete root cause diagnosis of application problems, helping to accelerate time-to-resolution while greatly reducing both the time and cost of application maintenance.

“Clal Insurance needed an in-production, application monitoring solution to help improve application support processes,” explains Hanoch Ben-David, Clal Insurance Group's CTO. “We previously had invested in other technologies, but found they could not meet our monitoring needs. As a result, we have chosen AVIcode’s technology to fill in our monitoring gaps and provide us with real-time, always-on monitoring of our production applications.”

Clal intends to use AVIcode’s technology to provide better support for its agents in the field. The company will focus specifically on obtaining real-time information about application problems and reducing the time needed to solve those problems. The applications being monitored are the main resource of the insurance agents and are responsible for most of the communications and data processing between the agent and Clal Insurance.
