Market leader selects Intercept Studio to ensure
availability and reliability of new Personal Health
Records system
BALTIMORE, Maryland, 01/23/2007 –
Baltimore-based AVIcode, Inc. announced today that it
has reached an agreement for MedicAlert - the market
leader in Personal Health Records (PHR) and leading
provider of critical medical information in emergencies
– to use its flagship product, Intercept Studio, to
ensure availability and reliability of its upgraded
personal health record system.
AVIcode’s Intercept Studio automatically detects
failures and performance degradations in applications
running on the Microsoft .NET Framework. Intercept
Studio delivers real-time alerts with complete
root-cause information for those errors, helping
organizations to resolve problems faster.
MedicAlert is a third party custodian of personal
health information for 2.4 million members, providing
critical medical information between patients,
providers, and first responders 24 hours a day.
Their PHR System is a web-enabled system maintained
entirely by the company’s member population. Designed to
help members take control of their personal records and
enable them to stay healthy, the system also provides
life saving information in the event of an emergency.
MedicAlert’s 24/7 Emergency Call Center and Emergency
Response Team rely on the availability of personal
health records to assist members and health care
professionals in life-threatening situations.

performance or configuration issue that potentially
