Incremental Application Dependency Discovery
Intercept Studio 5.0 automatically discovers
application architecture and provides information
about all application dependencies on third party
and internal Web services, WCF services and database
resources such as SQL, Oracle and DB2. This
information is crucial for efficient change control,
release management and infrastructure dependency
analysis.
SLA (Service Level Agreement) Monitoring for
External and Internal Service Providers Intercept
Studio 5.0 provides automatic problem attribution
based on internal and external service providers. It
tracks SLA metrics for connectivity, security,
application failures and performance violations for
all application service providers. Operations can
easily access and analyze the metrics on the
application dashboard screen.
Activity Monitoring for Business Transactions
Intercept Studio 5.0 exposes metrics on the level of
utilizations and response time for all identified
activities, allowing the tracking of individual SLAs
for critical business activities.
Application Monitoring Dashboard Intercept
Studio 5.0 introduces a new application centric
dashboard that provides a central point of
visibility into application health analysis. It
provides metrics regarding the current application
load, information on top problems and breakdown of
problems based on external and internal service
providers.

Centralized PDB Management Intercept Studio
5.0 PDB storage provides support for storing
multiple versions of PDB files and the ability to
seamlessly integrate with application deployment
processes.
Assembly Browser Intercept Studio 5.0
provides developers with the ability to browse
application assemblies and quickly identify
namespaces, classes and methods for monitoring. This
functionality greatly simplifies fine-tuning of
monitoring configuration for specific application
needs.
Intercept Studio 5.0 includes extended platform
support for Microsoft Windows 2008 server, Windows
Vista, .NET Framework 3.5, Visual Studio 2008, LINQ,
Windows Workflow Foundation, Sybase and MDAC as well as
