ESI International
ESI selected AVIcode to monitor an online
training application for exceptions and
performance issues. When ESI’s end users
were having trouble logging on to their
training application, Intercept Studio was
used to detect the cause of the problem.
Since, ESI has been able to help ensure
optimal application availability and user
success.
Florida Community College
Intercept Studio has enabled Florida
Community College to quickly diagnose
problems related to a new registration
application used by administrative services
to manage student data. With AVIcode's
technology, the college reports better
support and management of their internal
application.
Sylvan Learning / Educate
Sylvan Learning is North America’s
leading provider of private tutoring for
children in grades pre-K through 12. Sylvan
is owned by Educate, a leading pre-K-12
education services company delivering
tutoring and other supplemental education
services to students and their families.
Educate selected AVIcode to monitor existing
applications in order to help reduce the
cost of maintaining them. In addition,
AVIcode is used to detect bugs in new
applications, enabling Educate to improve QA
and deliver more reliable applications to
their users.
The University of Oregon was receiving
intermittent reports of failure for one of
their financial report applications.
Existing instrumentation was not capturing
the problem, and end users were not
regularly reporting the problem.
Considerable resources were spent trying to
isolate the issue, but traditional
troubleshooting and debugging techniques
were not working. After evaluating their
options, Intercept Studio was deployed and
quickly captured the root cause of the
error: failure due to a database command
timeout. Intercept Studio was subsequently
used by the IS team at University of Oregon
to deploy applications faster due to better
testing and detection of problems in QA and
the ability to resolve those problems
faster.
