Alberta Government
In support of higher education
initiatives, the Alberta, Canada Government
leverages Intercept Studio for exception and
performance monitoring of population-facing
applications that deliver data including
student grades and homework assignments.
Application reliability and availability is
critical as education staff throughout the
province enter data into the monitored
system that is essential to reviewing
student demographics and school funding.
When CSC experienced a slow down of an
application they developed for a state
agency to submit and receive information
about Medicaid claims, patient eligibility,
claims status, etc., they turned to
Intercept Studio to determine the root cause
of the performance issue. Intercept Studio's
ability to deliver a graphical event chain
to visually represent transactions across
multiple servers helped CSC identify a
series of SQL queries that were causing the
bottleneck. In addition, CSC utilized
Intercept Studio throughout their QA stage,
helping to reduce test cycles for use cases
from three days to one day.

Harris County, TX
Harris County provides their local
Judicial System and the public within the
Houston area with information and support
for legal records and all levels of county
government information. Intercept Studio
helps the county log errors on both their
public website and internal applications
that their clerks use to process judicial
records.
Israeli Navy
The Israeli Navy has selected both
Intercept Studio and AVIcode's .NET
Management Pack to enable monitoring of
their application throughout its lifecycle –
from development through testing, staging,
and production. The monitored application is
a strategic management system that is
utilized by all combat and headquarters
units, so availability and performance are
critical. AVIcode's solutions were selected
because they provided real-time monitoring
of in production applications and delivered
manageable information that could be
logically grouped and reported on.
NSERC: Natural Sciences and Engineering
Council
NSERC is the national instrument for
making strategic investments in Canada's
capability in science and technology. NSERC
supports both basic university research
through discovery grants and project
research through partnerships among
universities, government and the private
sector, as well as the advanced training of
highly qualified people. NSERC selected
AVIcode to monitor its online grant tracking
application. NSERC needed a real-time,
in-production monitoring solution because of
the time-sensitive nature related to grant
deadlines; in addition, they needed to
ensure the application was accurate
collecting critical grant information.
Ohio Department of Health
The Ohio Department of Health selected
AVIcode to monitor .NET applications in both
production and staging environments in order
to improve their application troubleshooting
process. In addition, AVIcode allows the
organization to take a preventative and
proactive approach towards application
health.
Riga City Council, Latvia
Riga City Council in Latvia needed to
increase the functionality of their
Microsoft Operations Manager environment to
include application monitoring. Performance
of several applications used by city
employees is currently monitored, and
bottlenecks that had been a problem have
been diagnosed and resolved as a result of
AVIcode's technology.
