As the de facto standard for .NET application monitoring, AVIcode was selected for its exception and performance monitoring capabilities. Intercept Studio is used in both development and production environments.

Acceller / BuyTelco

The authorized agent of industry giants such as Comcast, SBC, EarthLink, and DirecWay, BuyTelco makes it easier for individuals to find the telecommunication solutions that fit their needs and their budgets. AVIcode monitors the company's customer-facing web application, helping to ensure the availability and reliability of buytelco.net - a site designed to help consumers and businesses find broadband answers and solutions. The site also provides DSL qualifying and ordering, allowing individuals to quickly determine broadband availability.

Consumer Source Interactive

A division of Consumer Source Inc. and a Primedia Company, CSI owns and operates numerous classified websites, including ApartmentGuide.com, NewHomeGuide.com, Rentals.com, andAutoguide.com. AVIcode's technology was selected to ensure consumers could readily access and navigate these sites to find the information they needed, when they needed it.

Cross Country Automotive

Cross Country Automotive used application exception blocks to identify application problems occurring in production. The company found this method did not provide them the level of detail they needed to expedite problem resolution. Cross Country knew they needed more than profiling technology and application blocks, so they turned to AVIcode to deliver critical insight into exception events and performance of a Windows service. AVIcode’s technology is used in production and diagnostically in development and QA.

Interstate Hotels & Resorts

Interstate Hotels & Resorts relies on an internal portal to monitor the financial health of any one of their 280 plus hotels around the world. When an authentication problem prevented users from inputting or viewing financial information, Intercept Studio was able to quickly diagnose the problem and ensure employees throughout the company can access the information they need, when they need it.

Kelley Blue Book

More car buyers turn to Kelley Blue Book's online information than any other three sites combined. When the company needed help finding and tracking application problems, they turned to AVIcode. In both production and pre-production environments, AVIcode helps Kelley Blue Book detect potential performance bottlenecks of their web-based applications, enabling the company to ensure their customers receive the information they expect, when they expect it.

Odimo

Odimo, the parent company of online retailer Diamond.com, uses Intercept Studio to troubleshoot its e-commerce application. With Intercept Studio, the company has been able to identify and resolve a file lock that caused tracing information to be lost and another error that caused details to be missing from its web page.

RiteAid

RiteAid uses the AVIcode .NET Management Pack as a production monitoring tool and as a problem detection and diagnosis tool in development. RiteAid selected AVIcode’s technology in order to reduce their costs, resources, and reliance on writing and maintaining instrumentation. Seamless integration with MOM 2005 was also critical to RiteAid.

Saks, Inc.

Saks selected AVIcode to monitor legacy applications critical to their daily business needs. Intercept Studio 4.1's topology feature will provide Saks with auto-generated documentation against which to compare class diagrams. This will help Saks' architects and engineers ensure applications are running as they were designed to run. In addition, Intercept Studio will be used as a profiler in Saks' development environment, allowing code to be refactored and optimized during each software development lifecycle iteration, before being released to end users.

SmartBargains

Intercept Studio is enabling SmartBargains to diagnose application faults that otherwise would not be apparent in the instrumentation which they had previously deployed. For an online retailer like SmartBargains, web application availability and performance is critical. In addition, Intercept Studio provides proactive notification of problems that may be experienced by online shoppers, giving SmartBargains advanced notice and diagnostic information so the problem can be resolved before impacting a large number of shoppers.
